Proposal Manager
Location: United States
Project Resources Inc. (PRI) is seeking a professional with federal proposal and marketing management skills to join a leading design-build construction, time-critical services, and facilities management firm in San Diego. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business development, or communications, and have 5 to 10 years of experience in developing proposals to the federal government, including agencies such as the Department of Defense (DoD), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Department of Energy (DOE). Travel: 10-20%
Essential Duties and Responsibilites
• |
Work with the Vice President of marketing to analyze and find bid opportunities |
• |
Develop capture management plan |
• |
Develop teaming strategies |
• |
Track requests for proposals (RFPs) |
• |
Develop proposal compliance matrices |
• |
Lead proposal kickoff meetings |
• |
Write and develop proposal sections |
• |
Ensure proposal compliance |
• |
Lead review meetings |
• |
Edit and proof final proposals |
• |
Manage final proposal production and delivery |
• |
Oversee proposal coordinator and graphics specialist |
• |
Ensure company project descriptions and resumes are current |
• |
Develop, establish, and track client relationships |
• |
Other duties as assigned |
Qualifications
• |
Bachelor's degree in communications, business development, marketing, or related field |
• |
5-10 years experience directly involved with management of proposals to the federal government |
• |
Strong writing and editing capabilities and familiarity with Chicago Manual of Styles |
• |
Strong team building & leadership skills |
• |
Excellent communication and documentation skills |
• |
Must be proficient in computer skills |
• |
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects |
• |
Commitment to building client relationships and satisfaction |
• |
Working knowledge of FAR regulations |
