Project Manager, Environmental
Location: United States
The Project Manager, Environmental is responsible for managing multiple assigned projects to maintain budget, quality, schedule goals, and customer satisfaction. This includes identifying recognized environmental conditions, and evaluating and reporting on current physical condition, level of maintenance, and need for major expenditures of real properties by conducting field assessment, including physical inspections, sample collection, and testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilites
• |
Responsible for the set up, oversight and safety of the project. |
• |
Identifies, tracks, and reports project costs accurately. |
• |
Documents project progress through quality control inspections, field logs, photographs, records of communication, meeting minutes, etc. |
• |
Aggressively pursues project completion milestones and cost control. |
• |
Provides cost estimates and analysis based on collected data to prepare accurate cost to complete. |
• |
Manages contract administration including client and subcontract invoices, including client follow-up activities. |
• |
Provide assistance to site Safety and Health to ensure the safety and well being of all personnel at the job sites. |
• |
Responsible for the management of jobsite sub-contractors and all field/project site crew. |
• |
Ensures project reports meet client and company standards for quality. |
• |
Maintains organized project files, electronically and hard copies. |
• |
Other duties as assigned. |
Qualifications
• |
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in civil or environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, chemistry or related science. |
• |
Advanced degree and/or license (PE) a plus. |
• |
5-10 years environmental project management experience. |
• |
Additional training or experience in heavy civil construction management, environmental remediation, and developing cost estimates and CPM schedules highly desirable. |
• |
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in civil engineering or related. Advanced degree and/or license (PE) a plus. |
• |
OSHA 40-Hour and USACE CQC training preferred |
• |
Must be proficient in computer skills. |
• |
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. |
• |
Commitment to building client relationships and satisfaction. |

This position requires extensive travel by foot, automobile, and airlines. This position also requires working in the outdoor environment subject to weather extremes and rough terrain.
