PRI Awarded Navy OCONUS Environmental Remediation and Munitions
Response Contract

San Diego — PRI announced that its Environmental Remediation Group has been awarded a $3 million, 3-year contract from NAVFAC Atlantic Division for Environmental Remediation and Munitions Response Services at U.S. Naval Ammunition Support Detachment, Vieques Island, Puerto Rico.
Scope of work includes Munitions of Explosives Concern (MEC) surface removal actions of beaches, roadways, trails, and locations within the property boundaries of the former U.S. Naval Ammunition Support Detachment that was closed in May 2003. All work to be done will be in accordance with the Department of Defense regulations and guidance, Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the National Contingency Plan (NCP), Resource conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and compliance with all other applicable laws and regulations.
