San Diego, California — Under the USACE Los Angeles District Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) Multifaceted Environmental Service Activities (MESA) contract, PRI completed a $1.2 million task order that involved clearing and cleaning the Mission Trails Surface Clearance Area.
PRI was responsible for safely and efficiently locating, identifying, and disposing of all potential surface unexploded ordnance (UXO) and Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) from over 550 acres located in the Mission Trails Regional Park.
PRI Vice President (Environmental) Michelle Smith stated, "PRI executed this Task Order in the Mission Trails Park and the project was completed on time, within budget, and without lost-time injuries. PRI provided our client and the public with an access area free of surface UXO."
