PRI Awarded USACE Rapid Response Contract

San Diego, California — Project Resources Inc. (PRI) announced today that its Environmental Remediation Group has been awarded a contract for the remediation of hazardous materials by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District office.
The USACE awarded PRI the 5-year, IDIQ contract with a program ceiling of $40 million. This contract will require PRI to perform all work necessary to complete Rapid Response and Immediate Response services for Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) at sites located in the CONUS.
This contract is the fifth Rapid Response contract of its type to be issued under the Army Corps’ Rapid Program. PRI has been serving the Corps since 1999 when they were awarded the Omaha Lead Remediation contract from the US EPA, and then later the Rapid Response IV contract. PRI performed 15 task orders under the contract, not including the Vasquez Boulevard, I-70 Lead Clean-Up. The project was paused during the procurement process. Work for the lead remediation has been re-started since the recent award.
Frank J. Loscavio, President of PRI, stated, “We are happy to be back on the job, working to restore people’s homes and
property to a safer state.” Loscavio also stated, “In addition to HTRW, the scope of the contract includes timesensitive response to Homeland Defense/Security initiatives, and the mitigation, containment, and elimination of damages caused by
a terrorist attack on the United States. PRI’s Environmental Management division will manage and oversee this program.”
